Privacy
Lydia Harris Entertainment ("LHE," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, submit music or other materials, request booking or management information, participate in Lydia Selects, subscribe to marketing communications, or interact with our linked or embedded media.
By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not provide personal information through the website.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, stage or business name, email address, telephone number, city, state, country, social-media handles, website or electronic press kit links, and other contact details.
For music, artist, Lydia Selects, management, media, partnership, or booking inquiries, we may also collect professional background information, biography, genre, project details, availability, representation status, event details, budget or production information, music and video links, photographs, artwork, and any message or attachment you choose to provide.
If a submission asks about ownership or permissions, we may collect your confirmations concerning copyrights, samples, collaborators, featured performers, and authority to submit or promote the materials.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, our website platform and service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the date and time of your visit. They may use cookies or similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve the website.
Information from third parties
We may receive information when you interact with social-media pages, embedded videos, streaming services, external forms, or other third-party services linked from the website. Those services handle information under their own privacy policies. We may also receive business contact or project information from managers, agents, venues, partners, public sources, or others who are authorized to communicate with us.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to operate and improve the website; respond to inquiries; review music, artist, Lydia Selects, management, booking, media, sponsorship, or partnership requests; route an inquiry to the appropriate team member or approved specialist; communicate about a submission or opportunity; verify rights, eligibility, and authority; schedule calls or meetings; prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; maintain internal records; comply with law; and protect LHE, artists, partners, and website users.
If you separately choose to receive marketing, we may send news, campaign updates, artist features, event announcements, or promotional communications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the method provided in the message or by contacting us.
3. Music, Video, and Artist Submissions
Artists and creators retain ownership of the materials they submit. Submission gives LHE permission to access, store, internally copy, and share the materials with members of the LHE team and approved professional advisers solely as reasonably necessary to review and respond to the submission.
LHE will not publicly feature, repost, distribute, release, sell, license, or commercially exploit submitted music, video, images, or other creative content solely because it was submitted. Public promotion requires the submitter's separate permission, an applicable campaign release, or another written agreement.
Submitting material does not guarantee review, response, selection, placement, representation, booking, partnership, publicity, or any other opportunity.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with LHE personnel and project-based team members who need it for a legitimate business purpose; website hosting, form-delivery, email, analytics, storage, security, and other service providers acting on our behalf; professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, or business consultants; and artists, venues, promoters, production partners, or other parties when necessary to evaluate or carry out a request and when sharing is appropriate.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property; or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.
We do not sell or rent personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Media
The website may use essential cookies and similar technologies that support security, form operation, preferences, and performance. We may also use analytics to understand general website activity. Depending on the services activated, your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, although some website features may not function correctly.
Embedded or linked content from Instagram, YouTube, streaming platforms, or other services may allow those companies to collect information about your interaction with the content, including when you are signed into their services. LHE does not control those third parties or their privacy practices.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to evaluate and respond to submissions and inquiries, maintain business records, protect legal rights, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the status of a project or relationship, and applicable law.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No website, email system, form, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, government identification numbers, medical information, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through a general website form.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that you provided, withdraw marketing consent, or object to certain uses by emailing lharrisentertainment@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and we may retain information when permitted or required by law.
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to LHE, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or opting out of certain disclosures. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
9. Children and Minors
The website is not directed to children under 13, and LHE does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. Artist submissions, booking requests, and business inquiries should be made by a person who is at least 18 years old or by a parent or legal guardian acting for a minor. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
10. External Links and International Visitors
The website may link to services that LHE does not own or control. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. LHE is based in the United States, and information submitted through the website may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
